Over the last few years conductive education has spread around the world, with nearly 30 institutions employing conductors in the UK alone. The system developed originally in Hungary and is now having to adapt to a new cultural and social milieu. Since 1986 the Foundation for Conductive Education has been pursuing a strategic approach to developing a new kind of provision in the UK.
