Dr Diana Jones - Editor-in-Chief

Diana Jones Dr Diana Jones, Reader, Northumbria University is a physiotherapist, active researcher and research supervisor, educational innovator and international networker. She specialises in long term neurological conditions, complex disability and user involvement in healthcare education and research. Committed to research capacity building in allied health professionals, Diana Jones is aware of the importance of evidence synthesis and knowledge translation.

An active researcher and practice developer in the field of rehabilitation in Parkinson’s disease regionally, nationally and internationally; Diana was co-ordinator of the European Commission FP5 project (2002– 2005). Diana Jones is a founder member, current Board member and Treasurer of the Association of Physiotherapists in Parkinson’s Disease Europe (http://www.appde.eu), has been co-opted to Scientific Committee of Physiotherapy Research Foundation to advise on user involvement (2008-2009), and is a Fellow of Centre for Excellence in Healthcare Professional Education (CETL4HealthNE) and Convenor of the People with Experience (User Involvement) work stream (2005-2010).

 

Olivia Wood, MA(Oxon)- Editor

Olivia WoodHaving graduated from the Queen’s College, Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, Olivia converted to law at City University, London, and was called to the Bar in July 2007. She has been Sub-Editor for the British Journal of Nursing, and Managing Editor of the International Journal of Therapy and Rehabilitation since August 2009.

 
 
 

Anne-Marie Hassenkamp - Consultant Editor

Anne-Marie Hassenkamp works as a senior lecturer department of rehabilitation sciences at St George’s, University of London. She is a physiotherapist with a background in the management of musculoskeletal problems. Having trained and worked in the manipulative therapies she has become fully involved in collaborative/emancipatory research looking into the experiences of those suffering from long-term pain.
